Tired of you, me
Building new things is hard. Learning new things takes time. Putting new skills into practice isn't always graceful.
You are not going to be immediately excellent at everything. Having to actually put effort into something doesn't mean you suck and/or are failing.
More importantly, even if you were sucking and/or failing, that is literally how learning goes. It does not make you unworthy, less loved, wasting people's time, your potential or anything else.
You know all of this. But you're still being a dick to you about it.
Stop letting your brain tell you that you are simultaneously the worst most useless waste of stardust ever AND somehow the chosen one to whom the rules and laws that govern the rest of the universe do not apply.
Pick a side.
Either you suck in which case, kick back with a pina colada and stop being so hard on yourself. You suck, embrace it!
Or you're the chosen one and this is all part of your dope ass back story, so kick back with a pina colada and stop being so hard on yourself. You're the chosen one, embrace it!
Either way, we're gonna sit here and sip this hypothetical beverage and have a talky talk talk.
I know this is hard for you to accept, but like... you're legitimately a human being. Like for real. It's really happening. Right now.
You're in it. This is a go. We're live. Action has been called.
That means you are going to grow and change constantly, and that's gonna be... well... primates are...
Expecting yourself to be the picture of perfection and financial success and spiritual enlightenment and a fashion icon and caretaker of the year and exist in peak wokeness and inner peace and have 7 abs and somehow have the ability to speak Tibetan right at the exact moment it's needed for some random subquest that your ass shouldn't even be on anyway... like ... that's a lot.
It's unrealistic and it's mean and it's not something you do to anyone else. If anyone said half what you say to yourself to like literally any rando in the street, you would both knuck AND buck.
I'm gonna go right ahead and say it: I think you do it to yourself to get in your own way. I SAID WHAT I SAID.
If you kneecap your success now, nobody can do it to you later. Might as well save yourself the embarrassment and disappointment of really trying and failing or losing it, right?
You're really out here breaking up with your awesomeness before it can break up with you.
Interesting choice for someone who says they're not afraid...
